Abstract
This study explores the conditions of the thirty traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta and explores the culinary MSMEs assisted by the Department of Industry, Cooperatives and MSMEs in the city of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is to formulate the idea of optimizing the function of traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta. This study uses an exploratory qualitative approach. Informants were determined by purposive sampling.
The results of the exploration were found in 30 traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta, the results of the integration of the two aspects obtained 10 markets that have opportunities for culinary SMEs. This research can be useful in optimizing the function of traditional markets for MSMEs in the city of Yogyakarta.
